Hotel Pickup

Meet at your hotel lobby in Miri and begin the journey to Loagan Bunut (about 2.5 hours by road).

Stop at Beluru & Berawan Longhouse

Short visit to a local town and traditional longhouse along the way.

Arrive at Loagan Bunut National Park

Begin your adventure at Sarawak’s largest natural lake.

Boat Ride on the Lake

Explore the lake and nearby forest by longboat.
See stilted tree roots, monkeys, squirrels, and beautiful scenery.

Selambau Fishing Demo (Seasonal)

Watch local fishermen using traditional scoop nets (May or June to September or early October).
At other times, see conventional fishing methods like casting nets.

Visit Berawan Burial Platform (Klirieng)

See the historic burial site built on tall ironwood posts in the lake.

Lunch

Lunch will be served at a local canteen.
