Discover Scuba Diving – 2 Dives Itinerary

Arrival at Dive Centre – Meet your instructor, fill in the medical form, and get fitted with your scuba gear.
Welcome Briefing & Dive Introduction – Learn the basics of scuba diving, how the gear works, safety tips, and underwater communication.
1st Open Water Dive at House Reef – Head out for your first real dive with your instructor. Explore coral reefs, fish, and marine life.
Surface Interval & Relaxation – Take a short break to rest, hydrate, and discuss the first dive experience.
2nd Open Water Dive – Return to the water for your second dive and explore a different section of the reef.
Debrief & Wrap-Up – Back at the dive centre, review your dive session, ask questions, and find out how to continue with full certification.

Discover Scuba Diving – 3 Dives Itinerary

Arrival at Dive Centre – Meet your instructor, complete your medical form, and get fitted with all dive gear.

1. Location of Activity

All diving activities will begin at:

Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal

Jln Haji Saman, Pusat Bandar Kota Kinabalu, 88000 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

(Located near the main jetty area)

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled dive time.

2. Booking Notice

Minimum booking notice: 5 days in advance
Full payment required to confirm booking

Terms And Conditions

1.Payment & Booking

Full Payment Required: All bookings must be paid in full within 24 hours of confirmation to secure your slot.
Booking Deadline: All scuba diving activities must be booked at least 14 days before the scheduled activity date.
Non-Refundable: All payments are non-refundable, including for cancellations and no-shows

2.Changes & Cancellations

Name/Date Changes: Changes to participant names or activity dates are allowed up to 7 days before the trip, subject to availability.
Price Adjustments: If park fees or jetty fees are increased by authorities, the new charges will apply to your booking—even if already confirmed.
Activity Modifications: Mystravels.com and our partners reserve the right to change dive sites or schedules without notice for safety, weather, or operational reasons.

3.Requirements for Divers

Medical Statement: All student divers must provide a signed PADI Medical Statement before the activity. If you don’t have one, request it in advance.
Safety Compliance: Divers must follow PADI Standard Safe Diving Practices. Non-compliance or unsafe behavior may result in removal from activities without refund.
No-Fly Time: A minimum 18-hour no-fly period is required after your last dive.

4.Activity Conditions

Weather Conditions: Activities may be cancelled, delayed, or modified due to weather or sea conditions. Safety comes first.
Non-Refundable Clause: All payments are non-refundable. However, in the case of weather-related cancellations, we will do our best to offer rescheduling options, subject to availability.
Destination Changes: Dive destinations may be altered without prior notice due to environmental or logistical issues.

Useful Information

Once your booking is confirmed by our third-party partner, a confirmation email will be sent to you within 24-72 hours.

Medical Requirements: You must be medically fit to dive. Please review the PADI medical form before booking. If you answer "Yes" to any item, you may require doctor clearance.
Certification: No certification is required for Discover Scuba Diving. For certified divers, bring your certification card or proof of dive license.
What to Bring: Swimsuit, towel, reef-safe sunscreen, water bottle, and a change of clothes.
Supervision: For children aged 10–11, a parent/guardian must be present throughout. Parental consent is required for all minors.
Group Size: Maximum 4 participants per instructor to ensure personal attention and safety.
Dive Conditions: Our calm House Reef provides an ideal environment for beginners. Marine life may include turtles, cuttlefish, clownfish, and vibrant coral gardens.

2. Do I need to know how to swim?

Yes, you should be comfortable in the water and able to swim independently.

3. Do I need prior diving experience?

No prior experience is required. Discover Scuba Diving at Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park for Non Certified Diver is designed for first-time divers.

4. What will I be doing during the dive?

You’ll:

The experience can be completed in as little as one day.

6. Is it safe?

Yes. All our instructors are PADI certified, and we maintain strict safety standards. We limit groups to a maximum of 4 students per instructor, and emergency oxygen and first aid kits are always on board.

7. Can I fly on the same day after diving?

No. Divers must observe a minimum of 18 hours no-fly time after their last dive.

8. What happens if the weather is bad?

If weather conditions prevent diving, we’ll do our best to reschedule your activity or offer credit for a future session, subject to availability.
