1. Booking Requirements

Valid driving license is required at the time of vehicle collection.

Maximum:

Maximum passenger capacity must follow the selected vehicle category. Overloading is strictly not permitted.

2. Best Time / Season

Car rental service is available all year round.
Langkawi experiences higher demand during school holidays, public holidays, and peak seasons. Early booking is strongly recommended during these periods.

3. Additional Notes

Vehicle model is subject to availability. A similar model within the same category may be provided.
Fuel is not included. Vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as received.
No driving license = strictly no driving permitted.
Traffic summons, toll charges, parking fees, and compounds incurred during the rental period are the renter’s responsibility.
Child seats are not provided.
Smoking inside the vehicle is prohibited.
Pets are not allowed inside the vehicle unless prior approval is obtained from the operator.

4. Weather & Conditions

Car rental service operates in normal weather conditions.
In the event of severe weather, road closures, vehicle breakdown, or unforeseen operational issues, the operator reserves the right to reschedule, replace the vehicle, or provide alternative arrangements.

5. Agreements & Waivers

The renter is fully responsible for the vehicle during the rental period.
The renter agrees to comply with all Malaysian traffic laws and regulations.
Any damage, accident, or loss must be reported immediately to the operator / mystravels.
The renter agrees to the operator’s security deposit and damage policy.
Mystravels and the operator shall not be held liable for losses, delays, accidents, or damages resulting from negligence or violation of rental terms.

Terms And Conditions

1. Booking

Once your booking is confirmed by our third-party partner, a confirmation email will be sent to you.

Booking Confirmation Timeline:

Instant Confirmation: Confirmation email will be sent within 5 minutes of booking.
Non-Instant Confirmation: Confirmation email will be sent within 24–72 hours.

2. Prices & Payment

All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Prices quoted are for vehicle rental only unless otherwise stated.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies may vary depending on the selected vehicle and supplier. Please refer to the specific cancellation section stated in your booking.
No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
If eligible, refunds will be processed within 14–30 business days.
Bank charges or payment processing fees (if any) are non-refundable.

4. Booking Amendments

Amendment requests (such as rental date, time, or vehicle category) are subject to availability and not guaranteed.
Amendments are subject to the operator’s policy.
Mystravels reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a booking due to vehicle unavailability, safety concerns, or unforeseen operational circumstances.
In such cases, customers will be offered an alternative arrangement or a full refund, excluding any bank or processing fees, unless stated otherwise.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Drivers must be at least 17 years old and hold a valid driving license.
Customers must comply with all Malaysian traffic laws and regulations.
Customers are responsible for traffic summons, toll charges, parking fees, and any penalties incurred during the rental period.
The renter is responsible for the vehicle during the rental period.

6. Third-Party Providers

Some vehicle rentals are operated by trusted third-party partners. Mystravels is not responsible for the services, actions, or safety practices of these providers. Customers must comply with the terms and conditions set by the rental operator.

7. Travel Insurance

Customers are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance to cover accidents, damages, cancellations, or other unforeseen events.

8. Liability

Mystravels shall not be held liable for delays, accidents, breakdowns, losses, or damages resulting from third-party actions, customer negligence, or force majeure events (including but not limited to natural disasters, road closures, or government regulations).

5. Vehicle Model Availability

7. Late Return

Late return of vehicle may result in additional charges.

8. Child Seats

Child seats are not provided.

Security Deposit & Damage Policy

1. Security Deposit Requirement

A refundable security deposit may be required upon vehicle collection (subject to operator’s terms).

2. Deposit Refund

The deposit will be refunded after the vehicle is returned in satisfactory condition, subject to inspection.

3. Damage & Deductions

Any damages, accidents, loss of vehicle accessories, interior damage, or excessive dirtiness may result in deduction from the security deposit.

4. Accident Procedure

In the event of an accident, the renter must immediately inform the operator and lodge a police report within 24 hours.

5. Liability

The renter is liable for any damage caused due to negligence, reckless driving, or violation of traffic laws.
